Reflection. 21st June, 2021

Today is the first day of the second week of the FAD+ course, which also means that I will welcome a brand new project - Handmade City. Due to the epidemic, I needed to go out for a nucleic acid test, so I basically missed most of the introduction of this project, and I felt a little lost when I joined the course the next day. In fact, from the beginning of my contact with art to the present, I have done handicrafts a handful of times, but I know that I have a strong interest and patience in handicrafts. With the help of my mentor, I probably had some concepts for this project, and according to the mentor’s suggestion, I took some photos in the back garden of my isolated small house. This may inspire me a little bit and serve as a primary researcher. Reference materials. There were only flowers and plants in the garden, but this also inspired my initial thoughts on this project. That is, since the name of this project is a handmade city, and the place where I live is also a city, but in addition to the boring single-color houses, there are also a variety of plants in the city. So I plan to do some research on plants.
